MYF310AI Transmission Assembly MYF310A for XCMG XC988 Wheel Loader Powershift Gearbox

Two things make this transmission easy to get wrong. The first is the suffix. XCMG's own product literature lists this unit as MYF310A, while the trade and parts channels carry it as MYF310AI - the same box described two ways, and a buyer comparing a quotation against a machine plate can end up doubting a correct match. The second is the family. XCMG's MYF range runs from MYF110 and MYF130 for small loaders through MYF200 and MYF200A for the 5 to 6-tonne class, MYF230 and MYF230A for the 7-tonne class, up to MYF310A for the 8.5-tonne XC988. The numbers look sequential, but each one is a physically different transmission matched to a different loader class, with its own gear train, control valve and torque converter. We therefore quote against the machine model and the plate on the old transmission rather than the number alone. This is an electronically controlled powershift box - four forward and four reverse, electro-hydraulic proportional shifting, automatic KD kick-down, hand and auto modes with adaptive gear selection and self-calibration - and because clutch packs and control valves are the usual failure points rather than the whole housing, we also supply the torque converter, control valve assembly and clutch kits separately so the repair can be priced at the level the machine actually needs.
