Both machines carry the D13F, but they do not carry the same calibration. The EC380D is published at 212 kW net and 219 kW gross, while the EC480D is published at 256 kW net with 1800 Nm at 1400 rpm. The block is shared; the fuelling and the rating are not.
The D12D is the earlier twelve-litre engine of the previous machine generation, and it is sold beside the D13F in the same market entries because the same sellers handle both. Capacity, head, injectors and electronics differ, so a heading that names both has not named the engine in the crate.
Third-party specification sites are not consistent on this model. The machine brochure from the maker states the D13F for both the EC380D and the EC480D, and that is the designation an order should be built on unless the engine plate says otherwise.
