No published Hino engine code J08F could be found, and one parts platform classified the term under a different brand altogether. The documented J08 builds are J08E, J08ET, J08E-TM, J08E-UN, J08E-TW, J08C and J08CT. If the machine plate reads J08F, send a photograph of it before ordering rather than assuming it is a J08E.
An overhaul gasket kit is the top end and seals only, traded from about USD 200 to 280. A full overhaul rebuild kit adds liners, pistons, rings, bearings, valves, guides and seats, and is traded from about USD 880 to 1,199. Supplier titles use the two phrases interchangeably, so the contents list, not the heading, decides what arrives.
